Overview of Tasks:
1. Install android app on both the fixed and
mobile device
2. Setup the fixed and mobile device
3. Perform the experiments as per the
instructions in the video attached towards the
end
● Tap “Allow from this source” if you are
installing via the QR code, otherwise
continue ahead

● Tap “Install Anyway” and “Don’t
Send” in the subsequent window

● Continue to “Open” the app.

● Open the app you’ve just installed.
● Grant the required permissions and turn
bluetooth on
● Tap “Use Your Phone As Fixed Device”
Set up Fixed Device (1)
● Toggle the switch to begin transmitting
Set up fixed device (2)
● Take note of device name and generated
QR Code. This will be scanned after
experiments are done (not now)

● Select transmitter device name in drop
down.
● The device name would be the name which
showed up while setting up your fixed
device
Set up mobile device (2)
● Tap “Start Experiments”

complete the experiments or see video
in the next slide for any clarifications.

Troubleshooting and
Uninstalling the app
● If there is some issue with data collection of any
experiments, you can redo the experiments by
clicking the ‘Delete Experiment Data’ button
● After the 4 experiments have been completed,
you can go ahead and uninstall the app.
