Instructions for
Fixed Device: Wearables
Mobile Device: iPhone/iPad
Overview of Tasks:
1. Install iOS app on the mobile device
2. Perform the experiments as per the
instructions in the video attached towards the
end
Devices like Fitbits, Tiles, Apple pencils
beacon regularly by default so that devices
can discover and use them. These devices
beacon by default and do not require any
explicit set up
Set up Fixed Device
Set up Mobile Device (1)
● Install the app as per earlier instructions on
your mobile iOS device.
● Open the app and grant access to the
permissions required
● Turn on your Bluetooth
● Tap “Use your Phone as Mobile Device”
● Select your “Wearable Device Name” (‘Tile’
here) from the screen.
The setup for collecting data is now complete.

experiments or see video in the next slide for
any clarifications.
